PLACES, the many TRACES of HOLLYWOOD JOE Hollywood Joe has a never ending
love of music....and sound..... He is a guitarist first of
all...and being that, it has influenced his singing as well as his
songwriting.... While living here and there
throughout the United States...he has made quite a few friends..... Hollywood Joe is the name he
dreamed up for himself while a hairdresser..... People would often mention how he
looked like certain movie stars, celebrities and musicians....including...James
Dean...Davey Jones...Rory Calhoun...George Harrison...Tyrone Power....Paul
McCartney and Elvis Presley....! Hollywood Joe has managed to
capture many a sound, style and influence while still maintaining his very own
identity.... Along the way in his travels Joe
has also been fortunate enough to pick up a few new ways to live.... Hollywood Joe tell of many a love
affair, heartbreak and understanding of life..... He seems to be at ease and very
content in not being a world-wide figure..... Maybe one day he will be.... Keep an eye on him....and an ear
too....we may be hearing and seeing the next American Hero.... Now and then Hollywood Joe will
just up and go out for a ride in his Buick Park Avenue....sometimes resulting in
a 100 to 200 mile trip.... Tucson, Arizona.....Hollywood,
California.....Flushing, New York....Saint Louis, Missouri.... Cahokia,
Illinois.... Shreveport, Louisiana.... Whitestone, New York.... Malibu,
California..... Nyack, New York.... Memphis, Tennessee..... Vail, Arizona.....
Paramus, New Jersey..... Oil City, Louisiana..... Pueblo, Colorado.... and many
other cities have all at one time or another been called home for Hollywood
Joe..... Hollywood Joe now owns the Rattan
furniture once used by the Beach Boys..... in their well-known recording studio
in Malibu, California.... Speaking of the Beach Boys....he
once met Dennis Wilson...the bushy-haired drummer of the Beach Boys while an
employee at the world famous night club in Los Angeles...the Troubadour....! Hollywood Joe also recalls a
chance meeting with one of his all time favorite idols....George Harrison of the
Beatles.....it was at the Gramercy Park Hotel in Greenwich Village, New York...
George stepped off an elevator just as Joe was getting on....and they almost
collided....thus starting up a short and never forgetful conversation between
the two guitar players....It is something Hollywood Joe will never, ever
forget.... Another big memory in Joe's mind
is the day he watched Elvis Presley perform at Madison Square Garden.....! The love for Rockabilly, Swing,
Pop, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Love Songs, Country and good Rock and Roll has
never been better exemplified than in his songwriting.....which he is ever so
much active in.... HOLLYWOOD JOE DIGS MANY, MANY,

Jersey.... Dunkin' Donuts....anywhere U.S.A An apple a day....make that
two....! Rhubarb pie....Lemon too....! The Kinks...Beatles and
Stones.... Stephane Grappelli...may he rest
in peace....a great violinist..... Davey, Micky, Peter and Mike.... John, Paul, George and Ringo.... The New York Yankees..... The Los Angeles Dodgers..... Mario Maccaferri guitars....the
ones Django Reinhardt played on for many years..... Sabicas, Segovia and
Serrano....... Django Reinhardt the epitome of
what a guitar sounds like to my ears.... The channel 7 Late Night
Movie..... Photos of times gone by...... Photo sessions....to create
future memories..... Kraft macaroni and cheese..... The Arch in Downtown St. Louis,
Missouri..... Graceland .....the once home of
Elvis Presley.....in Memphis, Tennessee..... Hamden, New York.....a good

seen it many times..... Cornflakes and coke..... Vicksburg, Mississippi.....which
is on the Mississippi River..... Chuck Berry.....the big, big
daddy of them all.....! Red licorice...... Black licorice..... Chocolate licorice..... Yankee stadium....Shea
stadium....River Front stadium..... Nineteen sixty nine..... Alison Quick......Karen Sobeck.....Pattie
Donohue..... Chrissie Antonio....Jill
Guido....Kim Spirtos..... Patty Wertz....to name a few..... Spaghetti with clam sauce..... Pizza.....all kinds of it..... Hostess Twinkies...... the Buntyn Cafe in Memphis,
